In this podcast, I will talk to my dear friend Makayla Bata de Albuquerque Freire, who comes from Mozambique and is a fellow student at Leiden University.

We will talk about decolonization from a perspective of a European and an African student. You will learn about childhood in Maputo, why should I be a microphone, and why Makayla would give Leiden University a grade 6 in its attempts at decolonization of academia.

It was a beautifully difficult but also incredibly insightful conversation, and I hope you will also enjoy the stories and ideas that we want to share with you.

Enjoy!
