This week’s podcast explores the link between memories and photographs in a family setting. Picking a specific location, Sunnyside Guest Farm in Clarens, was used as a starting point in understanding how the concept of place can play into intergenerational narratives.

The podcast really takes the listener in, also because the interviewed, the mother becomes more and more emotional and seemingly starts to remember more. The photos are a good extra that of course normally do not figure in the podcast, but it worked well. This could be a start of a family history through memory and photo’s.
