This page will track my journey through investigating the cultural importance of museums and the international dialogue surrounding African art and artifacts. The debate surrounding whether African art should be returned to their original creators is as heated now as it has ever been, and while both sides have argued their points extensively, the museum pieces largely stay where they are. We seek to investigate why, and what larger cultural impact African artifacts in Europe have, both in the West and in their country of origin.
