Master Series
Innovative Research Methods gives Master's and Bachelor's students a community-based space for exploring new and creative ways of making, displaying and using academic research. On this platform students are encouraged to share their visual and digital research projects, discuss with peers and get new ideas for developing their research. If you are a Master's or Bachelor's student and are interested in developing an online research project related to your studies, you are welcome to get in touch and share your ideas!
Understanding the Congo Crisis
For this project, artist Sapin Makengele produced a large drawing of his vision on the Congo Crisis in co-creation with students from the Master course Negotiating Power in Africa (Leiden University) who designed a website with a historical analysis based on the artwork. The artwork shows various detailed storylines that are explored in further student assignments.
