I am a Ugandan born musician playing authentic and raw music from my village of Teso. Fitting in the shoes of Fela Kuti, Salif Keita etc, I have been priviledged to travel doing this globally as a musician with the aim to archive tribal music from my roots in Uganda.
In 2010, I founded Beats of Hope Africa, a social enterprise and charity based in the Netherlands, Kenya and Uganda working to solve problems and making positive impact in Africa especially among the least last and lost comunty of street children.
With my degree in Social Science, Diploma in Music, MA project planning & Management and now MA African Studies, I am self driven to cause positive change in society, I started this task by helping street children in Kenya and Uganda get off the streets and empower them. Today over 50 street children have been rescued by my organisation. While I continue growing this project, I have reached out to organize meaningful exchanges enabling interns from Europe get placements in Africa while operating the Africa Safari Festival that's an outlet and a source of inspiration on Africa in the Netherlands
